Entry #2: Whole New World...

Hello Everyone! And welcome back to Art-A-Palooza! Today, I am going to sharing experience of going to a family vacation outside of state for the very first time.

Roadtrip

Starting in 2014, I was in 5th grade, our first family trip ever was going to California. It was probably 3 or 4 hours distance from here to California.

We did indeed prepare a lots of stuff like snacks, clothing  and swimsuits, in case of going to the beach. During the trip, almost halfway to California, I remember there was thousands of windmills all over the area. I was shocked, like I have never seen one before; However, I find it beautiful, even there are hundreds of them on the hills too. I did slept through the road trip right after the Treadmills.

Resting at a Hotel after four hours of road trip
Four hours later, We made it to Anaheim, California, and we went to that hotel, which I don't remember what the name of the hotel is, but the first thing we took the photo is the Mickey Mouse cards that contains the information about Disneyland and California Adventure from the Lobby (Inside of the room, Two king size beds, the color of the light combines it well, and watching Uncle Grandpa on the small Television, which it doesn't shows on the picture, but you'll imagine it.)

Be Prepared!

It is almost eight in the morning, and our parents wake us up to get dressed up, brushing our teeth, and packing up beverages in case we're thirsty, money for food, and hats to block the hot, yellow sun. The distance from the Hotel and Disneyland is 6 minutes away. No crowded people on sight, because we're on time. Right after we passed through the security, our stuffs we're safe, the 2 in 1 stroller, which it has a front for my little sister and the back that has a chair built to sit, is also safe, and we're ready to go! Right before we went in the tunnel, flowers we're blooming, the sunlight was shining bright as yellow, that's where we took the photo at the exact spot.

Main Street and the Big Beautiful Castle
Right after we went passed under the tunnel, the first character that popped up to the entrance, which is obviously Mickey Mouse, we we're shocked until a lot of people, with no hesitation, started making a line in nanoseconds just to take a picture with him. I don't remember how close, but probably we are almost next to take a picture with him. Later, everything went great, and we started walking to Main Street a little bit. At the same time, there was one of those main street vehicles, which is a double decker type of vehicle. Right after we got in the vehicle, it started moving a little bit, which means the speaker is about to be spoken and entertain people from different countries and/or states. Two minutes has passed, and my dad told us to turn around, and so I did. Surprisingly, cannot believe in my own eyes, I finally saw a huge castle that I saw from the commercials and/or from the opening of any Disney Movies.

Rides, Food, and Others
The rides we got into was the teapot ride, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, Carousel, Alice in Wonderland, and It's a small world after all. And the Rest is Parades, Shows, Lists of the schedules that the characters will be appearing , Dying of thirst, Huge Turkey Leg, using the map to go to a different land, and Fireworks at midnight!

Fun Facts!
Since it has been almost 10 years, we have never been to Splash Mountain.
We still have the fast pass for Splash Mountain; But, now that Splash Mountain has been replaced to Tiana's Bayou Adventure, which it is a bummer that we haven't gone in that ride.

Entry #1: All About Me!

Hi Everyone, Welcome to Art-A-Palooza! My name is Amelie, and I am a Music Education Major, First Year enrolled in college. I am a Part-Time Server, which I've been working for almost five months.

Wii Console (Released in 2006)

Rabbids Go Home (2009)

Favorite Hobbies

The only Hobby I enjoy the most in my free-time is playing video games. Wii, for example, will always be in my heart, which I started playing with it since I was three years old. My favorite game I played the most, is "Rabbids Go Home", which is about a whole army of dumb rabbids that wanted to reach to the moon by stacking a pile of garbage and items. I remember playing that game with someone I know, before they moved out of state. If I we're doing something else other than playing video games, you'll see me listening to High-NRG, which I love that type of genre so much.

Favorite Activities

My favorite Activities is going to Mexico with my family every Summer. I am always so happy to see my uncle and aunt, with their 9 cats, 3 dogs, and a small rooster. 8 cats were all over the place, but one cat is anti-social, which I can barely see that cat at night or sitting on the stairs when we got back from any places we went. My favorite part of being in my uncle's house is my mom's personal typewriter.  I can't believe they still have my mom's typewriter, which means the ink and the keys works in a good condition.

Entry Practice

My opinion of Blogs

Blogs can be a good thing for anyone to be entertained with any topics like Music, Food, Exercise, Life, Routines, and a lot of things to discover.

What I like and dislike about two websites I read

The first website I enjoyed is Billboard.com. It has some interesting topics like the "Latest News", "Music News" and " Even the huge Image from the Homepage will tell you what's good or bad from the "Top Story".  One thing I don't like about this website, is the section called "Most Popular", which is all the way at the bottom. If there can be only one spot for that section to move, it would be right before the "Video" Section.

Another website I explored is Goop.com. What I like about the homepage is the background image, which any color that matches black and white from the exploring bar. What I also like about this website is the rest of the page shows you the Beauty, Fashion, and Recommendations. What I don't like about this website, is a little mixed up.  "Featured Shops" would be the first one, then "New Arrivals", and then the last one stays. The author's purpose of this website is suppose to be anyone who wanted to be themselves for their lifestyles, as in "You be You".

Thank you guys for reading my first blog and stay tuned for another blog!
